Photographing Vivienne VaVoom has been a dream of mine for quite some time. We were finally able to make it happen last month in her Denver home, and I am so pleased with the results! She channeled a 60s animal-print glam goddess (and a dash of burlesque legend Jennie Lee) in her tiki basement with the perfect poses and expressions.
In case you don't know Vivienne, here is some info about her from her website: "A versatile vixen of the classic ecdysiasts art, Vivienne VaVoom can generally be found bumping and grinding a mile high in her hometown of Denver. Known for her "Timeless Tease" style, this classic coquette has performed around the country and the world, including Miss Exotic World, Tease-O-Rama, New York Burlesque Fest, the Helsinki Burlesque Fest and Miss Burlesque New Zealand. Vivienne is dedicated to increasing the population of burlesque queens in Denver with her monthly "School of Burlesque" lessons. In 2016 she celebrates 18 years on the burlesque stage. She wrote THE book on the neo-burlesque scene, Burlesque and the The New Bump & Grind."
