Last autumn I spent a weekend in Nashville creating the most amazing creepy art with my clients. With a set built by my friend GiGi La Femme, as well as an abandoned mansion in the middle of nowhere, Gidget and I paired up to create these very spooky and sexy images. I love creating with Gidget and can’t wait to work with her this weekend in New Mexico! Here she is in her Liliana Vess cosplay <3
The nights are getting longer and the sweaters are getting cozier! Time to shine a spotlight on my next Photo Shoot Special in Nashville, taking place January 13, 2019 in a secluded cabin! This boudoir portrait session is perfect for wearing your sexiest lingerie under your comfortable cardigans and warm coats. To provide a bit of inspiration for this session, I am throwing it all the way back to 2013, when I did my Sweater Weather Special in my former studio in Nashville, TN. Here are a few highlights from that session - and although this location doesn’t have a pink wall, it does have a gorgeous cabin interior, perfect for snuggling up with some hot cider and having a few sexy photos taken ;)
So often when I travel to Nashville for portrait photography, my team and I build big sets or discover a unique and stylish shooting location - so for this photo shoot special I decided to simplify and only use 3 sets: a luxurious boudoir velvet set, a leopard print backdrop, and my sequin backdrops. The results are incredible - every client brought their own unique styling and looks to these sessions and I’m thrilled with them. Hair styling provided by AmyRose of Hocus Pocus Beauty Boutique and makeup by Katie-Laine Thornton. Featuring Sylvie, Mel, Gogo, Sheena, Jinx, Eva, Gidget, Sophie, Freya, Sassenach, Lavender, and Shan.
Taking boudoir photos in Nashville is always such a pleasure - especially with a shooting location as gorgeous as this one! I noticed Becky’s fabulous home on her Instagram posts and decided to message her to see if she would let me shoot there for a day, and she said yes! With a mint-green velvet sectional sofa, a pink dining room, and a foyer with gorgeous foliage wallpaper, we had so many options on where to pose. Even a clawfoot tub! Thank you to Becky and Michael for letting the glam squad take over your home for a day! Hair & makeup provided by AmyRose of Hocus Pocus and Katie-Laine Thornton. Featuring: Viola, Mel, Gidget, Gogo, Zinnia, Sheena, Carrie, Shan, and Eva.
This is the first time I’ve worked with Pixie Danger, and she had not only the best location for her shoot, but also an incredible look! I enjoyed meeting her at an abandoned detention center just outside of Nashville, where we did all the creepy poses. There were so many backdrops to choose from! Here are the highlights from our photo shoot.
