So often when I travel to Nashville for portrait photography, my team and I build big sets or discover a unique and stylish shooting location - so for this photo shoot special I decided to simplify and only use 3 sets: a luxurious boudoir velvet set, a leopard print backdrop, and my sequin backdrops. The results are incredible - every client brought their own unique styling and looks to these sessions and I’m thrilled with them. Hair styling provided by AmyRose of Hocus Pocus Beauty Boutique and makeup by Katie-Laine Thornton. Featuring Sylvie, Mel, Gogo, Sheena, Jinx, Eva, Gidget, Sophie, Freya, Sassenach, Lavender, and Shan.
I've been making pretty pictures with Shan de Leers for many years now. It's no surprise that this dazzling dame wanted to do a 1970s-inspired pinup session in her awesomely-era-specific basement. With wood paneling, unique tile, and a fuzzy rug, we created some images perfect for showcasing Shan's groovy side. Enjoy!
Jean is a ladyfriend whom I've been hoping to photograph for years! This burlesque vixen is feisty, feminine, and downright dangerous. She brought her modern Bettie Page-style into the Bombshell Sessions in Nashville last November. Take a peek at her bad ass boudoir session...
There are few things I love more than coming together in a unique location and creating art with gorgeous clients. When Magnolia contacted me to do a vintage-inspired photo shoot, I jumped at the chance. With Crystal Brown of Nashville Glamour as the makeup artist, we had a blast playing dress up. I love these photos <3
I've noticed lately that ladies are asking more about the difference between a private boudoir session and my "day long specials." At the specials, I photograph multiple ladies scheduled throughout the day. Everyone gets the same set options, and hair and makeup are available as add-on services for the complete makeover. At a private session, the only person I am photographing is you. You receive custom, specialized hair and makeup styling, as well as a location of your choosing. Instead of a quick-moving 45 minute session, the private photo shoot is between 90 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the package you choose. Private sessions are more customized, so you can do multiple looks (say, a 20s flapper vixen and a 40s bombshell pinup), and wear multiple outfits.
This session is a great example of my Standard private photo shoot. Katherine chose to shoot in her home, which is super fun and beautiful, and we did the photo shoot at night. The results are stunning - a 60s sex kitten glamour style with multiple wardrobe changes, moods, and expressions. Shana Michelle Taylor styled her hair, and Crystal Rose Brown did her makeup. I love the way these turned out - and Katherine's wardrobe choices were spot on!
