Here is the follow up to my last blog post, featuring the stunning Brooke. Brooke asked her BFF Marie to come to her private session so they could get some duo photos together! These two gorgeous women perform together and are known as “Two Leggy Reds.” They needed some promo photos, and I was more than happy to oblige! I enjoy photographing groups as well as individuals, so if you’re considering having a session done and want to bring your pal, let’s chat! This luxurious boudoir session is one of my recent favorites, and not only because my client Brooke is drop-dead gorgeous, but because every detail fell into place. From the stunning private suite in a downtown Nashville hotel, to the excellent collaborative work of our hair and makeup team, to the stunning lingerie Brooke brought to the session - each aspect came together beautifully. We started with a more natural look and worked our way towards a dramatic style at the end of the session. Having our styling team on location was essential, and hair stylist AmyRose of Hocus Pocus and makeup artist Katie-Laine Thornton brought our visions to life. Stay tuned for a follow up post featuring Brooke with her BFF - because the only thing that’s more fun than doing a boudoir session alone is bringing in your best friend! I love creating with Rosa, who is also an amazing photographer! She is an experienced model and really knows her way around the camera - including in front of the lens! This session goes to show that one fierce look can garner a lot of great images. It’s Hollywood glamour meets modern bombshell!
This was my second time visiting Albuquerque to create imagery with the ladies there, and I can’t wait to return there next month! From Hollywood Glam-style in-studio to on-location cosplay, these sessions were so much fun. Thank you to Venus, Annie, Holly, Mayo, and Ave for shooting with. me! I’ll be back in Albuquerque for the New Mexico Burlesque Festival next month, if you want to shoot with me, you can learn more and sign up here!
I was honored to visit with the beautiful burlesque dancer Chairmyn Meow before the holidays to create these images with her. Chairmyn, who is fighting cancer, is the epitome of strong femininity. I’m so glad we made these images together. Thank you Chairmyn for trusting me in these moments and sharing your reality and vulnerability with us. Gold costume by Glorious Pasties.
