Planning Your Dream Boudoir Session with La Photographie

Curious about how to book your boudoir session at La Photographie? You’re in the right place. Below are answers to our most frequently asked questions—plus a little sprinkle of magic to help you start dreaming big.

Q: How do I start the booking process?
Everything begins with a consultation. This is a no-pressure, 1:1 chat where we’ll go over all the details—your vision, your questions, your comfort level, and what inspires you. Whether you have a clear idea or are just starting to explore, I’ll guide you every step of the way.
Q: What will we talk about during the consultation?
This is where the magic begins! We’ll discuss:
  • Your journey and what inspires you to book a portrait session
  • Themes and styling options
  • Availability and scheduling
  • Investment and payment plans
The consultation is your chance to share what’s been living in your imagination—and I’ll help you shape it into something tangible.
Q: How should I prepare for the consultation?
No preparation needed! We’re gonna chat like old friends. I want to get to know you, and I’ll guide the call. You’re welcome to ask any questions you may have!
Q: What kinds of sets do you offer?
Our studio is a lavish Victorian filled with over two dozen set and theme options. You can choose from soft and romantic to moody and dark, from vintage glam to full fantasy. We also have a lush Secret Garden for outdoor boudoir (a rare offering!), and access to the nearby coastline and forest for even more dreamy outdoor options.
Q: What happens after the consultation?
During the consultation, we’ll choose a date for your photoshoot and get the planning process going. You’ll receive my exclusive PDF guides on How to Prepare and Wardrobe styling, as well as my Studio Guide that shows you the different options for your session. We’ll also schedule our Session Planning Call, where we’ll chat about wardrobe options, beauty prep, and anything else needed to make your experience feel luxurious, empowering, and exciting.
Q: Is it normal to feel nervous?
Absolutely. Many of my clients feel a mix of excitement and nerves—that’s part of the magic. My job is to help you feel safe, supported, and celebrated from beginning to end. With nearly 30 years in client service and almost two decades of photography experience, you’re in very good hands.
