Welcome to La Photographie! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, booking system, studio services, and communications. By using our services or booking a session, you agree to these Terms in full.

Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

We provide portrait and boudoir photography services, both in-person and digitally delivered.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book or participate in a session. By booking, you confirm that all information provided is true and that you are legally permitted to enter into a contract.

3. Session Booking and Payments

  • A non-refundable retainer or session fee is required to reserve your date.

  • Payment plans (if offered) must be completed on time. Missed payments may result in session cancellation or rescheduling at our discretion.

  • Final balances are typically due before your session date unless otherwise arranged in writing.

  • Gift cards and credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • All sales are final on products and digitals once delivered or ordered.

4. Rescheduling and Cancellations

We understand life happens — please reach out ASAP if you need to reschedule.

  • Rescheduling may be allowed once (within the calendar year) with proper notice.

  • Retainers are non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation or no-show.

  • Repeated cancellations or non-communication may forfeit your booking.

Emergency or hardship-based accommodations may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Image Delivery and Turnaround

  • Standard turnaround time is typically within 2–3 weeks for proofing galleries unless otherwise stated.

  • Final products (albums, prints, digitals) may take additional time depending on your selections and production.

  • You will receive only the final edited images you’ve selected and paid for. Raw files are never included.

  • Client galleries may be archived after 60 days and are not guaranteed to be recoverable beyond that point.

6. Copyright and Usage

  • La Photographie retains full copyright to all images.

  • Clients receive personal-use rights to images they have purchased.

  • You may share your photos online or print them for personal use, but they may not be altered, filtered, sold, or used commercially without written permission.

  • We may use your photos for marketing unless you've opted out in writing via a signed release.

7. Communication & Text Messaging (10DLC Compliance)

By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive SMS communications related to your session, reminders, or promotional content.

All text message communications are strictly opt-in. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Text message opt-in data and consent will never be shared with third parties.

8. Privacy and Data Security

We take your privacy seriously. Please review our full Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, store, and use your data.

9. Studio Conduct

We create a safe, respectful, judgment-free space for every client.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

  • Clients agree to arrive on time, sober, and prepared for their session.

  • Guests are only allowed with prior approval.

10. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. By participating in a session, you acknowledge and accept the artistic nature of photography and agree not to hold La Photographie liable for:

  • Client dissatisfaction with poses, styling, or results

  • Loss of digital files due to technical failure or file corruption (rare but possible)

  • Studio or vendor delays outside our control

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
