Let’s get one thing straight: perfection is boring.
The details you’ve been told to hide — the marks, the lines, the curves — those are the very things that make people stop and stare. They’re the details that turn an image from ordinary into unforgettable.
There’s a version of you that doesn’t apologize.
She doesn’t shrink.
She doesn’t ask permission.
Not every transformation is loud. Sometimes, it’s in the way someone holds themselves differently. The way their energy shifts. The way the camera doesn’t just capture them—it reveals them.
Here’s a glimpse at how four women stepped into their element… and fully embodied it.
How often do you find yourself apologizing? For speaking up, for showing up, for simply being?
Who else (besides me) is guilty of doing this? Shrinking your voice, your ideas, your confidence, your very presence?
To the woman who’s always on the go, carrying the weight of everything—and to the one who only has a minute while reading this on the toilet (because, let’s be honest, that’s the only break you’re getting):
I’m giving you permission to daydream this holiday season.
Your days are a blur of responsibilities—work, kids, errands, relationships, caretaking. But where, in all that, is there room for you?
Ever feel like life has a way of burying your true self? The labels pile on—mom, partner, boss, caregiver, friend—and somewhere along the way, it’s easy to lose sight of the person you were before all the roles. This is where boudoir comes in, offering an escape from the ordinary and a rare, precious opportunity to rediscover you.
My very favorite part of boudoir (other than the photo shoot of course) is the creation of your one-of-a-kind Wall Art. Let’s work together to create the custom wall art you want to see in your home. We can design the whole shoot around your ideas and desires!
What is Boudoir Photography?
Have you ever seen yourself through an artist’s eyes?
By definition, boudoir photography is a genre of portraiture centered around feminine empowerment. It’s kind of like the classic Glamour Shots from the 80s, but modern. To put it simply, boudoir is intimate portraiture for every body.
Fairy Tale boudoir is where fantasy meets truth. It’s not about costumes or pretending: it’s about telling a story that already lives inside you. Soft, dark, powerful, wild, or quiet. Your fairy tale, photographed your way at La Photographie Boudoir.
They told you to tone it down.
To be softer. Smaller. Quieter.
But what if you were never meant to be contained?
There was a time when my Halloween photoshoots weren't as immersive.
Back in the early days, before Connecticut became home, Halloween sessions were different. I didn't have a dedicated studio space, so I'd come to you, dragging my equipment and backdrops through airports and into the trunks of rental cars.
You know the type of Halloween content that’s just… black lipstick and fake blood? Yeah, this isn’t that. At La Photographie, Halloween is a creative takeover. Every year, we flip the studio into something cinematic, moody, and just a little unholy. These are not basic themes or plug-and-play setups. This is a full-on transformation of space, energy, and story—and we only take 7 muses behind the curtain.
